Indeed it is a regular. The reason it's a Beta is mainly because 'Pilot' sounded to Old Media (shoot me now). Next SPOnGcast recording is this Wednesday. So, if you've got anything you'd like mentioned - or if you've got your own slice of audio saying why you listen to SPOnGcast religiously - then please let me know.
Cheers

Poor little Murray. He got way more attention than he wanted or anticipated I image! He is amazing though, so it's kinda expected.

Hey, nice to see you guys got round to it at last.
Sound is good., guess the structure could do with some work. Let the listener know what format you are going to present it in eg: What U've Been Playing, News, Reviews, Feature Topic, etc. Good podcast length is about 1h 30mins to 2hrs. I also feel seven people is far too many people, you should limit it to three to four people, so you can all get a say on whatever. Add more game music to give it a better feel throughout.
Perhaps you guys should consider adding a Skype account, so some of us can call in and add our two pence worth. One or two competitions would also be good to entice listeners.
Also, get this beggar onto the iTunes.

Good lord, we have consensus. That's exactly what I've been saying... okay, that's exactly what Murray has been saying. It's as if you've been in on the conversations.
Now then, a Skype account is indeed a good idea. We'll sort that.
Cheers

Glad I can help. I listen to a few podcasts, so I have a good idea what works well.
Giant Bombcast and 4 guys 1up usually have about those numbers too. If others want to chip in, let them have a segment that they can record themselves, which you can play back on the podcast.
Yeah Skype, emails, and twitters are a good way to get response from out there.
You might also want to record a short promo, that can be sent out to other podcasts to play and help promote yourselves.
Don't forget the competitions, as you seem to have gone off doing them of late.

Really liked the bits about CHESS. =)

I thought it was horrendously long waffle - but it made me laugh, =).

I enjoyed it, you didn't sound as Northern as I expected and I liked the way you explained your weird language to us Southern folk 6~).
It's actually the first game-cast I've listen to all the way though, I've tried a few others but just couldn't get into them.
I don't think it's a problem having that many people, although it would help to mention names more so that we know who is talking. I think the only people I could pick out were Tim, the younger lad (can't remember his name, James was it?!) and Lizzie (obviously!)
The Skype thing is a good idea, as you could invite people to contribute. Or perhaps you could tell us forums users what you're planning on discussing in the next SPOnGCast and maybe get some suggested topics at the same time.
Either way, I'm looking forward to listening to the next one 8~)

Adding an email address to the podcast would be good too.
We can send our questions in, as not everyone has Skype.

Aside from that, everybody else was excellent.
More about me later.
