Also; good news for heavy metallers this week.

Eddie wasn't messing around with his promotion of Brütal Legend

Bethesda, Codemasters, Electronic Arts, Nintendo, SCEA, SEGA, Microsoft, Brütal Legend, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (Wii), Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3), Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, FIFA 10, Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box (DS), Halo 3: ODST (Xbox 360), Need For Speed: SHIFT, Wii Sports Resort (Wii)
Wii Sports Resort manages to climb the charts and make room for new activity-sports title, Mario and Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games. SEGA and Nintendo's IOC-branded mascot mash-up grabs a comfy middle spot at #5, and if the first Mario and Sonic game is any indication, isn't going to let go of the top 10 for a very long time. Welcome your Olympic Winter overlords.
Brütal Legend headbangs into seventh position, and it is our hope that it will continue to rock most heavenly in the charts to come. The performance of Tim Shafer's latest, starring Jack Black and a myriad of heavy metal legends, is bound to have been worth the legal trouble the game has had in recent times.
Rounding off the newbies is Fallout 3: GOTY Edition, which is basically Fallout 3 with all the downloadable content packs. For those who haven't taken the plunge into the Capital Wasteland, now's the time to dig in and get sucked into a compelling action RPG.
Here's the chart listing in full. Last week's position in brackets, this week's in bold; NE stands for 'New Entry'. Easy peasy.
(1) - 1 - FIFA 10 - EA Sports
(NE) - 2 - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Sony

(5) - 4 - Wii Sports Resort - Nintendo

Well done to Uncharted but I can't help but find the stranglehold EA have with FIFA really annoying.
How can a game that is essentially a patch on the previous version sell so well with people so willing to pay for it? It's ridiculous that they're allowed to do so.
I wonder if PES didn't exist the anti-monolopy laws could be used?

Uncharted 2 being exclusively on 1 would have fought pretty hard.
Well worth it though uncharted dominated my weekend.
